Connecting Point exists to connect people to Jesus Christ one person at a time.
Our desire is to see people who are far from God drawn closer to him. We also recognize the importance of making connections with one another through friendships. God designed His church to function together as one.
Our Leadership
Don Knoup is the lead pastor of Connecting Point. Pastor Don grew up in Northern Illinois in a great Christian home with wonderful parents, but it wasn’t until the age of 20 that he truly gave his life to Jesus Christ.
He served as a volunteer in youth ministry and worship ministry for about 10 years before being hired as a bi-vocational youth pastor. During that same time, Don worked in the software industry as an application developer.
Pastor Don is a gifted communicator with a desire to share God’s truth in a way that is practical and easy to relate to our everyday lives. His passion is to connect people with Jesus Christ and to see them reach their God given potential.
He lives in Pecatonica, IL with his wife Stacy.
