Connecting Point Church has been Closed
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who have supported our ministry and pray God’s blessings on all of you.
Important Letter to our Congregation:
It is difficult to make an announcement like this one because the decision was equally difficult to make. After more than 12 years of ministry Connecting Point Church will be closing. While this has been one of the hardest things, we have ever done we are above all grateful. We are so thankful for how God has blessed this season of our lives. We are thankful for the impact that God has allowed us to make in the communities where we have served and beyond. More importantly we are thankful for all of the people who’s lives we had the privilege to reach.
As your pastor I have been so excited to see God’s work in you and through each of you. I am confident that He who started a good work in you will see it through to the end and I know that the God’s plans for you are those filled with hope for a great future. I believe that God called me to start this church and my hope is that I have been obedient in the steps that we have taken since that start. But just as it was hard to start, it is also hard for all of this to come to an end. I believe that God is calling me to step down as Pastor of Connecting Point Church and that he is instructing us to close this church. Even though it is hard, we must be obedient to what God has called us to do.
My prayer is that every seed that we have sown as a church will be multiplied to the Glory of God. And I’m praying that God will bless each of you beyond what you could ask or imagine as I pray also for these communities, we have been serving all these years.
Our last service will be held on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022, at 11:30pm.
In Christ,
Pastor Don Knoup
